Patriots’ offense is in need of change. There have been 15 games and 16 weeks, and very little has changed. All season long, the Patriots offense hasn’t been able to consistently produce, which is primarily to blame for New England’s 7-8 record and difficult playoff chances. Mistakes of this nature should never occur, much less at this point in the season. How can the ideas continue to be either poorly implemented or poorly designed after hundreds of meetings, film reviews, walkthroughs, practices, and now 15 games?
Patriots offense is in need of change | NFL Season 2022
It is the one question that has persisted throughout the season and will not disappear unless something changes. That will either necessitate a change in the coaching staff or a sudden uptick in offensive production. This indicates that the Patriots can only win if they completely shut down the opposition. The Jets scored 17 points in their first meeting with New England, the most by an opponent in a losing effort. The Patriots are in trouble if they do anything more than that. Despite another loss the following week, the NFL Patriots are still alive. The Miami Dolphins’ similarly disappointing stretch drive is primarily to blame for this.
